The Build Project foundation is driven by a vision of collective action and collaboration to address housing needs and create opportunities for those in underserved communities.
We are embarking on an exciting journey with a strong focus on community engagement and development. By partnering with industry experts, housing developers, and charities, we aim to create innovative living solutions while giving back to those in need.
We welcome participation from individuals & businesses regardless of the size of their contribution, highlighting the belief that every effort counts towards making a positive impact in the Edmonton region.
Our inaugural event was a huge success from reaching our $30,000 fundraising goal and the enthusiasm from our guests, donors & industry leaders who were immediately ready for the next step where we can all get involved to make a change! It is with great pride & excitement that we will be partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta.
We currently have an independent unit within an apartment complex, neighbouring the Edmonton House. The additional unit allows RMHC Alberta to address the waiting list and offer families a place to stay and remain connected to the services provided by the organization (including meals and transportation).
Meeting only 14% of the demand, at least three families check into an Alberta Ronald McDonald House every day. RMHC Alberta alleviates the tremendous emotional, financial, and physical burdens that families face during these difficult times but more space is critical.
Your generosity & contributions to THE BUILD PROJECT FOUNDATION will help us to continue to provide & upkeep this unit as well as acquire additional units for future use.
